Athrú by Aoife is a curated clothing company which allows customers guilt-free circular shopping. We specialise in hand-picking beautiful and stylish pieces for each of our collections making us your go-to platform for high quality, on-trend occasion wear in Ireland.
We have a wide range of new and pre-owned clothing which has been carefully curated to ensure it is of the highest standard. Our items are available to rent or to buy in order to meet consumers’ diverse needs and maintain accessible price points.
Our Mission
We understand the power of a new outfit and the difficulties faced by those who want the feeling of ‘newness’ but who at the same time cannot ignore the negative impacts of buying new every time. It’s bad for our pockets, and bad for the planet. However, we shouldn’t sacrifice feeling good to counteract this. Our goal is that by shopping with us you still get that feeling of new, but in a more sustainable way.
Here at Athrú, we are a safe space for all fashion lovers, who want to counteract fast fashion and find that special outfit for that special occasion.
How It Works
Athrú by Aoife was born out of a need for better solutions to buying and selling ocassion wear in Ireland. We’ve searched high and low to bring a curated collection of event worthy clothing in a simple and easy to navigate platform. Our mission is to remove the hassle of finding quality occasionwear. We achieve this by allowing you to choose the way you shop, that best suits you. We provide rental options so we can offer luxurious clothing at an affordable price point while also having items available to purchase because renting just isn’t for everyone and that’s okay. The point is that the choice is yours!
We’re also big on sustainability here and that’s why we’ve also sorted a variety of high-quality preowned items. Don’t worry, these have all been checked and authenticated to ensure they are suitable for resale. Keep an eye for our resale symbols, this shows you which items have been previously used.
